The Tropical Storm Warning has been cancelled
CHANGES TO WATCHES AND WARNINGS:
CURRENT WATCHES AND WARNINGS:
STORM INFORMATION:
Irma has now weakened to a Tropical Depression resulting in the
cancellation of all warnings across the area. There remains a low
threat of flooding and tornadoes for the next several hours as well as
low end wind gusts.
WIND:
Little to no additional wind impacts expected although some stronger
wind gusts across higher elevations could still down some trees and
powerlines.
FLOODING RAIN:
Additional impacts from flooding rain are still a concern across north
and central Georgia. Remain well guarded against locally hazardous
flood waters having further impacts of limited potential.
TORNADOES:
Little to no impacts are anticipated at this time across NORTH AND
CENTRAL GEORGIA.
As it pertains to this event...this will be the last local statement
issued by the National Weather Service in Peachtree City GA regarding
the effects of tropical cyclone hazards upon the area.
